To those who know. I remember reading here in the not to distant past that its fine to use spray break cleaner on a GB. I need to clean the pivot of my GB, and wanted to make sure I'm not going to discolor, or damage the G-10 with it. If break cleaner is fine, then is it the best stuff for the job? Thanks, Reagan

This info is directly from the Strider website:

Epoxy Resin/Woven Glass Substrate
FR-4 (MIL-1-24768/27-GEE-F)

The second proprietary design used by Strider Knives is made from this Glass/Epoxy composite. The material is known as G10 or FR4.

This handle provides the user with a durable tool, impervious to most fuels, oils, blood, solvents and acids. Due to its non-metallic makeup, it is also non-conductive, shielding the user from electric shock through the handle. This makes it an excellent choice for industrial uses in caustic environment where durability is paramount.

I would be careful using harsh solvents on the GB/AR. It won't harm the blade or the handle, but MAY loosen the 3M adhesive that holds the pivot bushings in place. It happened to me... :(

Great, thanks! I'll get a bottle and spray it clean tomarrow. Reagan
