I'm looking for tips on keeping part of a "shop" clean. I got a peek at my new quarters on Maxwell AFB last weekend, and when I saw the storage area..... Well my eyes lit up and my wife immediately knew that storage would not be the primary purpose of the area! So, I'll need to keep the back of the room clean as it will contain "stuff", probably mostly holiday decorations, and other BS, you guys know what I mean. All I'll have set up in there will be a grinder and drill press, and a shop vac to clean up. Any ideas on how to best seperate the areas? Thanks,

Ryan

Yeah......rent a storage unit for the Christmas decorations:D

I like both of those ideas! Thanks for the link, that look like just what I need.

Married quarters on the base itself? try a shower curtain typw arrangement using truck canvas. just pull it across to keep all the crap and mess off the widgets piled in the corner. :D

Shakudo,
That is a neat thing.
Half mvxczy shop is in our garage and I know mZXCy Better Half would really like me to keep the dust, etc. off her automobile....Cool!

Joe, Good idea....I doubt Whit could set up a PODS in his driveway at the military base , so you have a good one....I'm just being verbose....

if you have to keep dust down.........just buy some cheap 1/8" plywood and make a wall so t ospeak. Screw 2x4's to the floor, screw the ply to that from the side and sort of the same thing at the top however you can. wont fall like plastic and you could even turn it into a make shift tool hanging wall :)
