Cleaning an antique knife

I agree carrying a knife seems to make a difference. It gets a warmth to it after being carried a few days.
 
It’s a coincidence I found this post. My dad passed away and I have about 15 “new” knives , all Case,Tree Brand and a JimBowie made in Solingen which I hadn’t seen before. All with a nice patina and plenty of pocket lint.
