Cleaning and maintaining Survive! canvas handles

You know, Frog Lube is a great idea for under the scales. I've read that is the stuff they put on roller coaster tracks to lube and protect them. The idea being it is completely harmless to the environment, so when it drips off onto the ground, as it inevitably will from the tracks, it isn't immediately a hazardous waste area. At least that is what I read.

That's pretty cool. Is this the same lube for handguns or is it a different formula?

Oh ok. I wasn't sure if they had some sort of sanding compound in them.

its hard to explain, I definitely got a bit too aggressive at one spot, but it was under the handles. all it did was lighten the stone wash a bit. I had been trying to use one of those magic erasers (for walls) which works, sort of. I would say its a lot like that, but more aggressive.

haha I hadn't heard that, but wanted something that was safe to eat, and didnt smell bad. seems like frog lube and mineral oil were the top two choices. frog lube smells like minty gum/toothpaste

Looks like I need to grab one of those erasers and some froglube soon. I've been putting off cleaning up my rifles and shotguns for too long anyways.

My understanding is all FrogLube LUBRICANT is the same. I think they have a grease, an oil (thinned grease?), and a "CLP." I think it was just the grease and oil that were the track-lube. I don't know about the "CLP."

But yes, gun lube.
