Hot water and soap while pivoting the blade.
I agree that something like a good dishwashing soap works good on most folders. I've found that the newer generation DAWN 4X ( platinum overnight formula) dishwashing liquid soap. That new formula of Dawn Dish soaps has been a great improvement. Now if you want to really clean something down to the bare material I've never seen anything clean as good as TSP ( Tri-Sodium Phosphate). But do wear rubber protective gloves>> preferably chemical resistant gloves.I open bags of concrete using my Pacific Salt and usually it just takes a quick rinse. I have scrubbed the FRN handles with a toothbrush and soapy water with success.
