What is the best material or solution to clean the tarnish from my carbon steel blades?

Thanks for all your great help!

I like the patina that builds on carbon steel blades and wouldn't clean it off. Each stain represents something in the knife's history: a camping or hunting trip, usually. The patina also seems to protect the blades up to a point.

I cold blue my carbon blades. I like the way carbon steel ages, why fight it, I help it along with Caseys cold blue. Looks good and it shines when lightly oiled;)

I, too, like the patina that builds up on carbon steel blades. But whenever I do get the urge to clean one, Brasso seems to work pretty good for me.
