cleaning G10,what is the best way!

As previously mentioned, a melamine foam pad will get the job done. A silica sand eraser also works well on the scales of my CRU-WEAR PM2.
OK I'm taking those more seriously. I put both in my list to buy.
My black G10 Para 2 has a textural difference in the material in the middle of one scale. I bought the knife new and there is no sign on that scale that the clip had ever been moved to that side (I can see an impression under the clip on the original location when I have had it off). Kind of bugs me because this one is a safe queen. Maybe the silica eraser will blend that out. I have been passively thinking about starting a thread about that. I figured I might first try just cleaning those scales after I master cleaning this blurple user.

One thing that I am after is making the handle food sanitary; there was no indication that would happen from using the erasers just as they are. Two good additions to the "kit" though.

Make the handle food sanitary? As in sanitizing the scales?
Yes maybe I am too finicky.
Picture this : Trash handle knife . . . cutting up my juicy peach . . . assembling bowl of fruit with both hands drip, drip trash handle juice into the bowl . . .
Sound good ?
Guess I'm just a wimp.

Run it in the sanitization cycle of a dishwasher. Maybe swap out the scales to full titanium. This is also one of the reasons why I advocate the use of food-safe lubricants such as Krytox 205.

Yah you're probably right.
As I always say when people ask me why I brush my teeth in the kitchen :

Butt things in the bathroom mouth things in the kitchen.

I pity the fooos.
I wonder what they use your tooth brush for . . .
ooooooohhhh best not to go there.

All in good fun.:)

Of course I have a decoy toothbrush. Makes the roommate feel better when she's pissed at me. ;)

I generally take the knives apart and soak the parts that need cleaning in a bm blue cleaner solution then clean them up with a microfiber cloth.
