Cleaning of Whirlwind or Blackout

I like the assisted opening feature but have not used the knives for skinning, dressing out game or any jobs that might get them gummed up. The other folders that I use are easy to clean. Has anyone used the assisted opening knives for dirty jobs and how do you recommend cleaning them? (Or should I just stick to the old reliables?)

i spray mine out w/gunscrubber, then lube w/rem oil - no probs so far.....

So the handle material is not adversely affected by Gunscrubber? That's good to know.
