cleaning the handle?

I have noticed after using my BM-E for awhile that the handle is darker than it used to be. What is the best method of cleaning the handle?

Yep, happens to all the Busse micarta handles. I usually don't clean it unless dirt and mud are involed. However I find that mind dish soap and warm water do a wonderful job. Keep in mind that the handles will start to darken immediately upon next use as they desparately suck up as much oil from your hand as possible.

Yes, I agree with Dark Nemesis. Dish soap and a scrubber always make my straight handles look like new. I usually let them air dry. They always turn dark again with use, but that new virgin look is sweet while it lasts.

The users get a little dark while the admirers run the risk of me spilling coffee on them while I have them next to me at the computer.

I tried the dishsoap and a scouring pad. They look like new again. Thank you for your help!
