Here are a few pictures taken last week at Clear Lake, WA. This is a lake west of Yakima on White Pass. It was beautiful. A couple of early spring challenges; as the snow melts and refreezes at night, you get a hard crust that you can pop through and twist an ankle. Also it get very slick.

This area is around Camp Dudley, a YMCA campground.

These were taken during breaks in a retreat.
Obligatory equipment discussion;

I had my Queen Gunstock in my pocket.
A SOG SEAL on the back of my Maxpedition fanny pack.
Pack had some hard candy, space blanket, Atwood whistle, surefire and spare batteries, compass, local map, paracord, and gloves.

real nice pictures , you mean you had all that gear on you and no fishin pole???

I would have a rod and reel, but they are closed waters on that end. I guess the fish ladder gives an unfair advantage, lol. Now on the west end of the lake there is beautiful fishing.

That is a beautifull place. Yeah, it looks like it wouldnt be too hard to pull fish out of that spot!
