Large cleaver, forged from 5160 bar.
Forged closest to shape with minimum grinding.
Flats are left raw, wet forged and wire brushed after forging.
After heat treatment, flats are brushed with scotch brite.
Hammer marks on bevels.
Rounded spine and heel for comfortable grip and work.
Details:
Overall length - 20,5"
Blade length - 10,3"
Blade width - 3,3"
Thickness - 23/64" at the thickest part, tapers towards the tip to 1/4", and at the end of the tang is 5/32"
Cleaver weights 63 oz (3 lb and 8 oz)
Handle material: Hemp wrap soaked in epoxy resin.
No sheath included, but i can make one for extra fee.
