My Grandma gave me a couple cleavers (my firsts), the smaller one seems fairly generic, but the larger one seems very well made and substantial indeed. There is a stamp, it is Russell Green River works. I have no idea how old it is. As seen it is quite large, the whole things weighs 2lbs 10 oz. Anyway, just thought I'd share, thanks, Dan.

Very nice cleavers you have there. Good condition too. Ready for decades more use chopping up whatever you want.

Very nice! Not much wear on those. Is there any taper from spine to edge, and/or from heel to toe?

Older picture but I have several. I've cleaned up several that I use either in the yard or in the kitchen.

A little TLC project I did last summer on this cleaver I picked up from a second hand store

The day I got her...

Later that day...

Cool pics guys! the big one is tapered from spine to edge and throughout the handle. I can take a few more pics tonight.

Harold Leonard & Co. Made in Italy.

This thing is 1/4" thick on the spine and 14" OAL. It just feels right in the hand. It's heavy enough that it requires very little effort to cut through bone. I'm not really in to cleavers but when I first picked this up I knew I had to have it. :D

There's something about a clever that is just so perfect...

Never been able to get my head around it, but one day I will own a KA BTB.

Thanks for reminding me that I need to keep saving!
