Cliff - Aircat knife tests ?

But when I look at those knives, it's not even the grind/geometry &c. that stops me wanting to use one; the overall design clearly shows who the knife is aimed at, and it's not me!

They were ground too thin and the blade can't handle it.

Edge variances can throw many aspects of performance significantly and can't be judged from a picture, I would like to see more makers / manufacturers list edge profiles as standard spec's. In this case though, most of the problems cited are not with such fine details but the general nature of the design.

I'm new in this forum and don't know much about knives. I started buying knives when I was about 14 yearsold. Some of them I sold and some of them I gave to my friends. Now I only have a microtech socom and I'm 34 yearsold. Most of the time I keep my knive in my drawer. I was looking for my first custom knive and saw Carrell knives on the website and was attracted to his folders. To me they looked very strong and durable and I also liked the design. I did not read all the threads, but it seemed like many of them did not like the knives. I'm wondering if I should buy it or not. I'm sure you know more about knives than I do, so can anybody give me any good advise if I shoud buy them or not? If it's not a good knive please tell me why.
