Materials: A2, Dymondwood, vulcanized fiber liners, brass pins, G-Flex epoxy.
OAL: 8"
Tip - to - Handle: 3 3/4"
Cutting Edge: 3 1/4"
Thickness: A Smidge Less Than 1/8"
Heat Treat: Paul Bos for 60 R.C.
This one will work better with a smaller hand.
Cosmetic issues:
Scratches in ricasso/plunge line area.
Dimple in lower ricasso, both sides. This shows up as a dark spot in the pictures.
Small spots of patina, on right-side flat (I can't see it in the picture, but it's there).
Voids on right side of handle, where the dymondwood split out. I filled them with a mixture of epoxy and sanding dust.
The underneath side of the tang isn't as pretty as the top side.
Sheath has some issues, which are all evident in the pictures.
[edit]: I need to seal the handle with Tru-oil, owing to the fiber liners. I will do that tonight when I get home.
