That's a very nice knife & sheath! Great price too. If I didn't have so many knives now, I'd be all over this one.:thumbup:

I agree with Bruce. Beautiful Knife. I thought your Osage Orange one was nice but this one is something else.

Question though. Are the handle scales stabilized? I've heard some wood doesn't require that but I don't know about burl wood.

Great Job:thumbup:

Thanks for the kind words, it's nice to hear. The scales were purchased as stabilized; however, when I started to work them I found that they were not completely saturated with resin. I roughed them out and soaked them in Minwax Wood Restorer until they sank to the bottom of the fruit jar I placed them in. Then I allowed them to dry out before completing the knife. I had this set of scales for several months before using them, they remained flat with no warping issues. This knife has two (2) 3/16th pins, and two (2) 1/8th pins along with a 1/4 inch lanyard tube, the scales should be fine.

Wow! I love it... except for the "Satan" finish! ;)

Nice work.

Stay sharp,

HA, I hear ya, the "satan" finish could present a problem. Thanks for the nice comment and heads up.

I really do love the looks of that knife. Those handle scales look absolutely heavenly!

I bet this one will get snatched up quickly.
