Here's another first for me...first bolstered slipjoint and first integral. I'm havin lots of fun with the new milling machine :D. Here's the rest of the specs:

Blade and Backspring are D2 tool steel. Started with 3/32" thick stock. Clip is swedged.
Blade is hollow ground with a belt satin finish.
Frames were milled from 1/8" 416 stainless...this knife is very thin and will sit well in your pocket.
Integral front and rear bolsters. Mill relieved around tang. Jeweled inside liners. 416 pins.
Desert Ironwood Burl scales.
I would estimate the pull at about 5.5 -there is no half stop.
Overall length is 6 7/8"; 3 7/8" closed; blade is right at 3" tip to bolsters.

Intro priced at $300 with US shipping included. Paypal is OK or can PM for other options. Thanks for lookin! Phil Tham

Wow! That's a really nice looking pocketknife. Great blade design, D2 & ironwood in an integral frame...well done!

I'm surprised this one is still here. Once Phil's work gets better known, he is going to have a long waiting list. Based on the 2 Phil Tham knives i have, I guarantee that whomever buys this will have his expectations far exceeded. It happened to me both times.

Wow just saw this one. The bowie inspired blade is sweet and the jeweled liners and DIB scales really makes this a complete package !

I picked up this knife at the P.O. yesterday.
I am in awe of Phil's work. His blade grinds, integral frame and highly figured Desert Ironwood scales, fit together with the perfection of someone with great natural talent and 30 years experience. But Phil's experience with knifemaking is far less than this so his natural talent is truly in a league of his own. Same goes for the finishing, everything is as smooth as glass and no interfaces can be felt. The blade is as sharp as sharp can be. As sharp as a Murray Carter.
I think this knife is worthy of engraving by a Master engraver and there are 4 surfaces available as it gas bolsters and caps.
Nudes or wild birds ? I've liked knives with both these but they were $5000+, so as long as i can get it engraved for $4700 or less, i'm ahead !
Thank you Phil. You are awe inspiring.
