This a clip point I made from 1/8" 1095 convex grind,very sharp.Cocobola Scales,aluminum tubing pins.The sheath I handstitched from 10 oz. veg tanned with a little tooling.I made the handle a little longer than I wanted,but it gives a big handed person like myself plenty of gripping space-specs are---9 1/2" OAL---blade 4 3/16"---width 1 3/4" at the widest Very comfortable to handle-----100.00 postage and fees inc. in the conus-Paypal- bjsilver1126@yahoo.com thanks for checking it out!Regards Butch-money back guarantee-sold to jgkelly-thanks

I bought one of Butch's knives about a month ago.

We live close by each other (45 minutes casual driving) so we met for lunch last week. He showed me the other cocobolo he made (I think listed elsewhere?)

I told him that in just a MONTH, I've seen his designs getting nicer and nicer, and his work getting better and better (I still like my older one though!)

I think he's really finding his niche...considering he said he never thought much about making knives when he started 'smithing! ;)

I will be buying regularly from him, and I'd say that as time progresses, we'll start to see a backlog of orders, as he gets even better at knifemaking, and more and more people "discover" him.

The next "big one" even???????

Couldn't agree more....Butch's work just gets better & better.
Let's hope his head doesn't get too big though & he raises his prices. :D

Thanks Bruce,but my head is naturally big anyway,have'nt made a perfect knife yet:DOne thing about the forums,they want let your ego get too large:)
 
Butch, the knife arrived today. I really love the way the handle is shaped. It feels really good in my hand. I love the convex grid as well. :) With any luck, this knife will be with me on my next camping trip. Nice lanyard too. Well done! :D
