i was looking around on the internet and found someone who put a bronze looking clip on there spyderco paramilitary 2 i know this is very vague but i cant find the web page that it was on.. it was a review page.

the clip was a shiny bronze clip.. very vague but its all i can think of to describe it.. any help appreciated

A Forum maker called STR makes some bronze anodized titanium clips, he usually makes low-ride clips, perhaps that is what you saw. Check out his page.

Was it a custom clip, or was it the factory clip with a bronze finish applied? If the former, as already mentioned it might have been STR's work. Or even if it wasn't, he could definitely do something like that for you.

i dont think so although those are some nice looking clips and i like how he is making clips that ride low.... this clip looked like the already stock spyderco clip and had the spyder on the top of it with the bronze finish already applied.. i think the guy in his review said he ordered the clip from another knife and it fit the paramilitary 2

Maybe it was a clip for a Gayle Bradley? Or perhaps the guy put the clip under a torch for a few seconds to give it a bronze look.

This is exactly what I thought as soon as I read the OP's most recent post -- it sounds like the clip used on many of Spyderco's Taiwan-made models (including the Gayle Bradley).

YESSSS thanks so much that is what i was looking for!! thanks so much (the gayle bradley bronze clip!!)

Hmm i've seen it done by one of the guys on the forum a while ago... He did the clip and all the hardware aswell, but I think the guy sold it. If I can remember correctly it was in one of the 300+ pages in the EDC-what are you carrying today thread.
