Sal Help........

E-Mail me with your requests, and I'll see what I can do.

Send your address along with it, too.

Someone mentioned recently that for interim, or ad hoc, or temporary blackening of clips, etc, that you could use a black Magic Marker or similar permanent ink felt tip marker. If you prefer a more finished, refined option, call around to any power-coat places you may have in your area - often, if they are about to do a batch of someone else's stuff in whatever color you would like, you can slip some small pieces in for a nominal fee.

A worthwhile alternative would be to cold blue them. The procedures are relatively simple and inexpensive. To achieve a darker shade, several layers are needed. Birchwood Casey offers a few liquid solutions that are available at many sporting goods/ hunting stores.

Just for grins I called some Gunsmiths, just to see what they would charge..bottom line is that it's the same price whether you do one, or a hundred...the cost is in the process. Average quote was around $40....

Cold Blue - very intriguing idea... Luckily I have a gunsmith that will do this gratis I think (as for fixing the trigger return spring on my P220 that broke while training tonight - that may take a little more sweet talking)

Thanks for the good idea,

Waldo
