The Office Clique... one of the most dangerous. Sometimes it reminds me of the behavior of chickens in a coop. If one chicken gets a wound, even a small spot of blood, the other chickens will gang up and chase it around pecking it to death.

Tread carefully, ye who are not members of the Office Clique, beware. Sometimes just the mere position of being outside the clique itself can be construed as a weakness, a vulnerability, a spot of blood. The chicken peckers are out there.

You're spot on there, UD:thumbup: I often dub our headquarters office as "The Hen House", and yes it is full of peckers:p:D I'm more patient with them than I should be. One day:mad::D
 
Offices are often the worst for that kind of clique-ish behavior. I find it's easier to take the Switzerland-outlook: work with everyone, ally with no one.

Another possible approach is to do as Sweden did during WWII.....

I'm a loner too TW. The only clique I like, is the click of the firing pin in an suppressed weapon.
