Seems like "Quiet neighborhoods" are getting harder to find these days. Last night on the street where my mother in law lives, an old school multi-generational neighborhood mind you, these undesireable folks who recently moved in decided to shoot at a car and it's driver with a shot gun! Truns out the MIL had just driven in front of the car right before they opened up on the car and driver, so she missed getting in the middle of a mess of trouble. We were out in the road talking amongst the neighbors, local politicians and a retired state trooper, when the apparent matriarch of the clan starts toward us in her night gown asking us if we would stop staring at them and go home. We told her we weren't staring and we were free to talk amongst ourselves. She started cursing at us or course and made her way back up to her front porch. Some people's kids.

No way.............I live in a very quiet community ........On a Saturday night I am not kidding at 7:00 pm everything shuts down...............

Think about it.........you have not spoken to me and I know you have not met me.............I kinda have a way about me.........I have a very ...how should I say........Distinctive voice and a very "A big city attitude" and I do not live in a big city, so you do the math.........why do you think I love talking to all of you alot.............I am not saying that I do not like small towns.....I live in one but I like hearing what everyone else is doing .......my town shuts down at 7:00 pm........Yea... 7:00 pm.............

No we haven't met but we have spoken.... Then you quickly passed me to Garth. I think I got the short end of the stick in that trade. :rolleyes:

You can stay with Garth and me in my rental van. :) We'll park it 'way down yonder on the Chattahoochee' and make 'smores all night! :D ;)

You must have asked a question I could not answer.........if you ask anyone else I talk and talk and talk.......now I feel bad..........call the shop in the morning..........I feel really bad I thought I had everyones forum names figured out ..............Darn you Snafu.......... I will not rest till I make amends............

Cool..........I have a feeling that is where we will be staying.........(LOL)..I will bring lots of marshmellows and insect repellent...............

I am not gonna sleep......................until I get to make amends.......Are you going to Blade.........cause if you are gonna come join our "cigar smoking Blue Label Smore Party.......We will be in the van by the river.......I am sure you will be able to find us........(LOL)
 
Wish I could make it to Blade. Gotta save up my trip later this year to Guam for a family reunion.

That will be nice.......but I guess when you go to visit your family you will not have.............Smores, Blue label and cigars in a van by the river............ha ha.....maybee when you go on your trip you could at least bring the smores....ENJOY....family is very important!!!! (except for mine...have you read my posts...) just kidding.....I am sorry that they are so far way....would you like my family????????? No Please ....take my family..........(LOL)
 
Well my trip will be from mid December to January, I might have to suffer... BBQs, off roading, jetskis, going to the beach, snorkeling, man it will be rough. Usually only get to see them one every 2-3 years, the military is not very conducive to family life.

I read some of your posts about your family... sorry, but it seems that you turned out great. ;)

The amazing thing is that if you do talk to Amy - she will remember you! I spoke to her once- once! - And then called back a few WEEKS later and she remebered me....at least she said she did....:)

And she does have a distintive quality to her voice. She is special and we {and Jerry too} are lucky to have her amongst us! Ok lets face it - we all love you Amy!
