This is my new favorite wood. It was the best grade available from a supplier in Laos. I could have purchased average stuff for about half the price, but I figured it was better to spend a bit more to get the very best. All these blocks are almost flawless.

If you would like your blocks cut into scales I can do that at no charge. I can split the thickness of the block and true up the slabs for equal thickness on my drum sander. There will normally be about 1/8"+ loss of material from the cut and sanding.
