This thread has been closed. The remaining pieces will be used for my own projects or moved to our web store.
This is some of the best Australian wood I have seen yet. Most of these pieces would be sold as exhibition grade in Australia. It is a rare occurance to be able to get wood this nice. The guy who collected this wood says these are some of the best he has ever seen.
The ringed gidgee is a desert acacia so the figure and grain looks a lot like koa with the weight and density of desert ironwood. The wood is kind of expensive so it should probably be used for projects where you might normally use a middle grade ivory.
This is good dry wood that is ready to use. You might give it a little time to adjust to your climate first. This sort of wood may have some small open eyes, voids or tiny hairline checks. An easy fix with a little CA glue if any fall withing your handle area.
We are so sure you will love this wood that it comes with a No Questions Asked, Money Back Guarantee.
US Shipping is $2.50 for 1 block or free if you get 2 or more. Canada Shipping is $10 for up to 3 blocks. The rest of the world is $12 for up to 3 blocks. My address to make payment through paypal is itsaburl@hotmail.com.
When you decide which ones you want, just post here "I'll take #s...." and I will mark them sold for you.
