Closed blade retention on Para 2

Very strong retention on mine, and I prefer it that way.

The closed retention is much better on the Para 2.

I think everyones opinion on what a strong detent is may differ.

All of my para 2's seem to have a weaker detent than the para 1's I had. Not too weak, but weaker

I just received my second Para 2 in the mail yesterday (date code BK). This one is just perfect right out of the box but I noticed the detent was slightly less strong than it is on my first P2 but this is just fine with me because it is still plenty strong. The lock release is much smoother and easier too which is really nice. Such an awesome knife . . .

My para 1 definitely has much less blade retention. In fact, it's almost non-existant... Maybe the spring isn't catching properly on that tang indentation? It hardly moves when you close the knife.
