I have closed this thread because I am sending these to K&G to be dyed and Stabilized.
These blocks are California Red Gum and Yellow Gum Eucalyptus I got from a veneer mill that closed down several years ago. I slabbed this wood a few years ago, set it aside to dry and then forgot about it. Really dramatic curly figure with the blondes and tight fiddleback figure with the reds. Good hard and durable wood.
This is natural wood, it has not been stabilized. I am so sure you will love these blocks that they come with a no questions asked, money back guarantee.
If you need your blocks cut into matching scales, I can do that for you at no charge. Just mention in your post that you want them cut into scales. I will normally cut the scales about 3/8" thick unless other dimensions are requested. Scales will arrive thickness sanded but not polished so they will look a bit duller than in the photos. This way I can cut the scales at no charge. Plus you get to have the fun watching the transformation as you fine sand and finish this unusual wood.
When you decide which blocks you want, just post "I'll take #s...." and I will mark them sold for you.
