JORTS!!!!!!

JORTS!!!!!!
Indeed. I knew you'd like that one! Matching screws too. I'd only do a Magnacut blade like this, I actually like D3V. 🤣

I was wondering what the Scrim Swedge would look like and that’s perfect! I can’t wait!
Yeah, it's pretty awesome. Kind of regretting not doing ECAM on that one now.

Seeing multiple knives. Makes me kick myself for not ordering two. Great looking knives. Thanks for this post. Was on the verge of sending email to ask when I was getting it. But now I don't have to do that. Love the different micarta colors. Make each knife look very different.
THANK YOU!

That top knife in this picture the ECAM? It looks close to Tricolor scales or are they the same? I was looking on the enclopedia page (well done very helpful I will add) and I didn't see ECAM as an option. Sorry if this has been answered many times in the past

Page 19 Pàdruig Pàdruig has a good example of ECAM (the bottom one)
Page 20 SpyderPhreak SpyderPhreak shows the one you're asking about as being double black and double red micarta.

Encyclopedia calls it Edge Cut Antique , second picture down in Scale Materials
I got my new EDC in the other day and finally got around to checking it out.

I like the changes in the blade design, I find it to be a bit more useful for everyday cutting. That said, I still struggle with its overall size - it's a bit Lilliputian. Smaller fixed blades only work for me if I am not being locked into specific grips. This one seems to want me to hold it a certain way for it to make sense and as such it ends up being too small for the grip to work comfortably. I'll keep playing with it though, this new one isn't so shiny so I can be less careful in applying it to work.

Mine arrived yesterday. Here are some bad indoor pics I just took...

Swedged D3V with VIP micarta, and blue Ti fasteners.

SWEDGE!!! I actually thought these swedges were going to be satin, cut after stonewashing. Oh well, still looks sweet!

Next up is double black and double red micarta, D3V, and blue Ti fasteners.

These pieces of micarta are a little different than my previous double black/double red, the layers seem to alternate dark/light, so it looks like layers of yellow and gray mixed with the black and red. Interesting, almost has a Southwestern look to it like this. Almost looks like a 9-layer stackup, black/gray/black/gray/black/red/yellow/red/yellow repeat.

Last up is Magnacut with blue denim micarta, and blue Ti fasteners.

This steel has a slightly darker gray look to it vs. the two above in D3V. Maybe the different steel?

It seems they are produced in batches of the same from the most basic to the most complex that requires the most work, and shipped in those batched orders.

For instance
1st basic tumbled
2nd ghetto grind
3rd w/swedge
4th satin finish
5th satin finish w/swedge
And so on…. At least that’s kinda how the Shiv 2.0 pre-order seemed to go

Not necessarily in that order and not by the number of your post. Possibly the number of your post for the basic tumbled ones
Makes sense…and I ordered the 5th option.
