As one customer put it, the new material is just like "dymondwood with the flame pattern". Flame Pakka Wood is a new variant of dyed, resin-impregnated, laminated wood. Red, orange, and gray wood veneers went through a pattern-creation process (similar to Damascus steel) before pressed and cured.

"Very dense, solid, and polishes amazingly well!"

Selected hardwood veneers are dyed in a vacuum chamber, then impregnated with phenolic resins. Under intense heat and pressure, multiple layers of these treated hardwoods are fused into a solid block of material that is strong, durable, and moisture resistant. The resin provides a build in finish. It polishes and finishes well.
