I am very relieved that you sold your awesome CRK 25, Otts Eight.

Hopefully, this will quiet BladeForums biggest baby (USS Worden), down a bit...but I don't think so.
Mod's- is there anyway that you can at least ground him for 2 weeks? His immature antics in this thread, were down right pathetic!

FYI Worden: Since I am unable to send you a PM, here is a message that I sent to one of BF Mod's (rycen), the one that you disrespected. I would strongly recommend, that if you plan on enjoying using this forum in the future, you better have a major attitude adjustment.

Hi Rycen,

I just wanted you to know, how difficult it was for me to not post in Otts Eight's thread for his Sebenza 25 that he listed for sale, yesterday.

The fact that I couldn't send Worden a PM, made it even worse. That was downright disgusting, thee offer, & back & forth chat that they crapped in Otts Eight's thread...& now he is back baby talking you???

I for one, would greatly appreciate you Mod's giving Worden a final warning & zero tolerance from any more of his immature bull crap that he pulled yesterday. I know Otts Eight feels pretty much the same way. This disrespectful punk better not ever pull this kind of crap in one of my sales!

Thank you very much, (in advance) for you attention to this problem child!

If the point of this thread was to sell his knife, why does it matter what I offer him? I can make any offer I want. If Otts Eight doesn't want to sell his knife for my offer price, that has nothing to do with anyone else. By the way, the only person with an attitude problem is Kelama. I'm sorry if Otts Eight was offended by my offer, but that has nothing to do with anyone else especially you Kelama.

You both deserve at least a warning for posting this in a sale thread, even though the sale was completed. Wrong place for your whining at each other.

Do not post unnecessary comments in an Exchange thread.
Do not critique the seller or the item or the price.
If you aren't actually taking the knife, stay out.

SECTION 2 - Rules/Procedures for Selling, Buying, Trading, & Offering Services
Buyers/Buying

5. Do not post in a person's thread unless you have an implicit interest in buying the item. Posts like, "Nice knife!", "Why is the price so high/low?", "I wish I had funds" are not allowed. This means absolutely no commentary or feedback in someone's sales thread. Seriously, if you stomp on someone's ad, your account can and will be locked.

The only exception to this is in the Knife Makers Market areas (if the maker/craftsman requests and welcomes feedback)

The rules do apply to every membership level from the lowest to the highest. Nothing gets deleted, rather the nuisance posts were removed to allow the seller to continue to try and sell their item without having to be reminded of the density of some people.

You are right in that you can offer someone $1.37 for a Sebenza, but you really should do that through email. Posting ridiculous offers like that in the open makes you look bad and is poor form. Common sense should have told you that much. You in effect ruin the sales thread when you do stuff like that. If you don't know what something is really worth, cannot afford it, or don't understand what you are getting into then you really should start reading more and posting less.

Mod's- It would help significantly, if you would post the entire thread. Putting just a little piece to what this idiot posted, just doesn't quite seem to suffice.

Worden offered $100 for Otts Eight $360 Sebenza 25. But it wasn't his low ball to the ankles offer that was wrong, it was his next 4 posts (in the sales thread) with another member, conversing about a bunch of childish crap, not related to the sale. Otts Eight, or any other member for that matter, doesn't need to deal with this stupid behavior when they are trying to conduct a sale of their knives!

In all fairness, I am asking that you to post the entire sales thread (the comments that were so childish- you deleted), Mod's. Otts Eight was ok with what I posted- we spoke about it in detail. Right or wrong, I waited until after the sale, to post a comment for Worden to read (which he did). I would have preferred sending Worden a PM, however, but go figure- he is a non paying "Registered USER"...

Worden deserves a long "Time Out", for what he did.

He offered $100.00 for it?. What a Scumbag  :thumbdn:

You were going to send him PM's about it:confused: You are not a Mod.

Stay out of sales thread's, and NEVER send them a PM just because they broke a rule.
Report the post. Do you not know how to do that ?

What he did was wrong, but you need to stay out of it, and let the Mods do there job.
We have great Mods, and they know how to do their job.

Nothing wrong with him being a Registered Member either, so I have no idea why you had to throw that one in.

Thanks, Ken44. That's exactly right.

We have rules and procedures here. Report problems and back off. We don't kick people for mistakes. We warn them and if necessary, we move the mistakes offline. Life is a learning experience.

By posting more in the thread, you give other people the idea that's OK, and then they may post before a sale is made.
