A couple of day's ago, RevDevil, posted a Youtube video in the GBU, (Dr. Evil of Austin Powers) basically letting a well known troll on this forum, that they needed a bag of "SHHHH" to try & keep this guy quiet. Instead of taking this advise to heart, yesterday, this member evidently had a BF melt down of historic proportions! When you cross over that very wide line in the W&C, you know that you seriously messed up!

Anyway, today, I happened to notice one of his posts, & under his user name, was the title, "banned" under it. Thank you, Moderator's, for doing BF this wonderful favor! :thumbup: Stone Arrogant Bastard Ale's are on me tonight! :D

He just pointed out, the last 30 points were non-expiring, but I'd say some of the other points do expire, so he could be back, so the rejoicing may be premature.

Even if there are expiring points, once you're banned that's it. The process to remove a ban is completely manual.
 
I kinda figured that last post would be his swan song. He's a sick child. Good work whichever mod who dropped the hammer!

I tried to warn him in the past. I asked him nicely to be civil, or at the very least not comment if things got to him. Unfortunately he couldn't help himself. Some folks are just perpetually cranky and have a permanent chip on their shoulder. He loved to brag about his he has money and whatever else, all the money in the world could not make him less hateful and arrogant. I don't think anyone on this forum gives 2 short and curlys what someone else's bank roll looks like. No big loss, maybe he will grow up someday and realize that being a giant douche isn't the best way to live one's time here on Earth.
 
He was experienced. I just ran a check on him and found he's been here before, as Rat 1, Wolf Eyes, Tactical Tanto, and Addicted2Knives.
 
Ouch. I'm so happy when I can read threads for a few months and avoid any of the trolls, which is rare.

At least there are many fine people on BF to offset the likes of the banned (or those that deserve to be).
 
I'm not sure why it is so hard for some people to be civil - even when in disagreement with others. You can make your point and still be civil and if you cant, well, then you probably should refrain from commenting at that point in time. These type of folks exist on all forums and how we respond to their behavior says much about ourselves.

Thanks to the mods for doing a great job of maintaining a civil posting environment for the rest of us. :)

Now I gotta go read the meltdown.... :D

@ Esav Benyamin: Regarding these other 4 BF user names used by Knifein; were any of those accounts banned? Was his M.O. the same?

Regardless, the positive energy on this forum just increased by 2.8%. I'm being 100% sincere, when I say, "thank you" for doing this.
 
I'd say he's not the only one with stink on them from that thread. Just because they were not punished doesn't make it correct. I learned volunteering at a state mental hospital that those who stare and egg on can have just as many issues as those who go off.

I just read that thread....wow....Have to agree that there is are others on there that look just as bad, but as Rev said, and most of us who read the GBU know, he kinda became a regular at being an issue.
 
Went back and read some of his past comments. Bad seed and needed to be gone. I have been watching him progress from bad to worse and figured he was heading out shortly. Glad he's gone.
