* I had originally put this knife up for sale earlier this month and it sold but ended up not being what the customer was expecting, so it was promptly returned to me in it's original condition and a refund was issued. The customer also had me change out the back spacer from white to red and I have to agree, it looks better in red. * please note the Carbon Fiber I used on this knife has imperfections in the weave. It is still smooth and doesn't seem to be weak at all.

Blade:
3 1/2" chisel ground CPM 154 from 1/8" stock with a "V' ground cutting edge. Heat treated to HRC 62 with a -300 degree cycle by Peters' Heat Treating Inc. out of PA. rides on phosper bronze washers.

Handle: 4 3/4" Dark Crimson wood / Carbon Fiber bolster overlay on Black G-10. Red Kirinite back spacer. 3/16" pivot and stop pin and all stainless hardware. Black stainless pocket clip.

very sweet, id be all over it if it wasn't chisel ground. What is the reason for the chisel grind? Not trying to be a smartass, just curious.

Hi shipwright. To me, that sounds like a ligament question. When I started making knives, I made ones that I liked and would carry. Then two things started to happen, I would show my Wife the "latest" knife and she would say, that's ok but not everyone will like the same knives you do and I started getting some feedback with suggestions of longer and different blade shapes, etc. So now I try different things to provide customers more choices. I have never owned or carried a chisel ground blade but have to say, if this knife was a bit smaller, I could see myself carrying it. hey, thanks for the comment. Walter
