The overall length is 8", the blade is 3 1/2" from tip to scales x 1 3/8" high and is flat ground from an antique misery whip saw blade. The scales are Sambar stag with red spacers and 1/8" mosaic pins. It comes with a hand made right hand carry leather sheath by maker. Thanks for looking, Alan.

Some times, I re-heat treat and sometimes I leave it. It depends on if I turn it blue when grinding, which I take a lot of precautions such as using heat paste and water to prevent, but I have tested these blades and they range from a rockwell 56 to 58 which makes a descent knife blade. . This one was not re-heat treated.

That is stunning. Period. The countour on the right side scale is just a natural fit for a right hand user. I am over committed on buying right now but if this one stays long... I will sell plasma!

Alan that knife is so awful looking. I think you should give it to me just so you don't have to look at it!
:D JK this one is another homerun if you weren't building me one. I would probably try to buy this one.
