Thanks for the chance. Here is what I keep in my tin. I definitely need to add some things like some fish hooks and line but it is a work in progress.

It looks like Moosez & Ethan are tied for being the favorite!
And the overall winner looks like it will end up being "All of our Mods are big babies!"
Thanks for the participation guys! I am looking forward to picking a winner!

Thanks for the chance. Love that pouch.

I think I'd fill it up with black powder, since it won't hold a stick of dynamite.

thanks for the chance. signal mirror, fish hook/line, rubber, razor blade, button compass, fire steel, and a pic of my wife and daughter

Here's my 11,

And sitting on the blade is what I'd put in the tin. Here's a better shot,

It's a modern version of a hobo reel I sized down & made out of kydex. Here's the one I inherited that was the original idea.

Mini-Bic
a few fire-straws
couple band-aids
alcohol-prep pads
large utility-knife(razor) blade (taped to the outside bottom)
large needle with heavy nylon thread
mini-firesteel
couple/few fishhooks (taped to outside bottom)

maybe a few other things depending on my mood, climate and season

A late horse enters the race! I just completed my first mod to better my chances in this contest. Hope you like it.

In my tin that I am in the process of building"
Button Compass
PJCB Straws
Firesteel
Jute
Alcohol swabs
Snare wire
Foil
M. Kohlwend tin knife ( when I can get one! )
I am sure I am leaving some things out.....

OH the most important thing. If I win, I will keep a picture of .357 ( or picture of his choosing ) in the lid to keep me company and remind me of awesome contest I won. No bull$hit.

I haven't gotten around to ever making a tin, but I guess some tinder, a firesteel, a SAK, signal mirror, super glue, bandaids, fishing line and hooks, razor, pencil, paper, maybe some of that wirey-lookin stuff Nsvens89 has, pic of the fam (great idea, tman038!), water tabs, duct tape, and some jelly beans oughta do it

thanks, man. i just figured that if it were a true survival situation there would be no better motivation to make it, than to want to see and be with your family again.

Woo hoo! Thanks for doing this contest! I'll be sure to return the favor in some way.
