Closing a thread I started?

That privilege is only allowed to Platinum members. If you need hlep you can contact a Super with a link to the thread you want closed. So, what do you want closed? ;)
 
Actually, Gold Members now also have the ability to close topics started by said member. I believe the purpose was so that for sale threads in the exchange could be closed once the item was sold.

To close a thread, there is a Thread Tools button above the top post which brings up a menu with the option to close the thread.
 
You are correct. Gold & Platinum can close threads they started.

Thanks very kindly Ken. Much obliged for your rapid reply!. I started a thread in Bernard Levine's ID & Collectors sub forum regarding a knife that I wanted positively ID'd. Bernard has since answered the question. And I already submited one last post in which to thank him and every one else for there comments. I would like to have it closed to end the non-topic chatter there as not to clutter more pressing threads in Bernards forum. Link below.
