Welcome, J jpvjr71 , yeah this is an old thread, but I am interested in your knives and uses as a logger (this is the Traditional and Fixed Blade sub forum). If I'm wearing jeans, which will soon come to an end due to weather, there is a Case Peanut in the watch pocket.

Everyday, a Peanut, for heavy duty (cattle/hog butchering) a Buck 307. They are the only 2 pocket knives I own.

My girlfriend told me about it.
Sorry if I restarted something that was to be left alone.
If the moderator, wants he can delete it.
No worries on my end friend. It's just generally frowned upon to resurrect very old threads, like this one that is a decade & a half old. I hope this doesn't discourage you or make you feel unwelcome. That is absolutely not the case.
On a lighter note I would love to see pics of your Buck 307 & Peanut if you're able to post them.
I started in a similar way, I had a couple of old school traditional knives & my wife egged me on to finally join the Forum after years of lurking. I thank her for that.
So I hope you pull up a chair & stick around the "porch" here 👍
