Cloud Spike

Thanks for all the comments folks. I'm hoping to eventually consider this a major transition in my work in the genre.. i.e. composite pattern welded swords. I learned a TON from the mistakes on this.. and the next one is going to be approached with much more control in every aspect. I'm going through some major changes in my shop (salt pot heat treating, digital/PID forge control, new clean/finishing room, etc) and am hoping it will all pay dividends.
 
And now I want to retread the Silmarillion for lore reasons. Really a beautiful blade.
