The more of it I see in previews, the stupider it looks. JJ Abrams is the guy your thinking of and he reminds me alot F.Night Shamalan in that he doesn't make original movies or scripts in as much as he rips off Hitchcock for pacing then adds a dubious hook at the end. In all I'll wait for the DVD.

I'll be going to see it just because I've always loved the giant monster movies. Plus I like the eye-witness feel of it.
