Shooting the F.A.S.T. drill from pistoltraining.com in less than 5 seconds is considered excellent and I think only 5 people have done it during one of their training classes. In the drill you must draw from concealment or a duty rig (i.e. police) fire two shots to a 3"x5" card (head) followed by a reload and four shots to a 8.5"x11" paper (chest). All I can say about this guy is DAMN.

Just back from the range,,, only the small calibre range was open due to electricity was out on the large calibre range,,, lucky for me I had my Browning Buck Mark .22LR with me,,, at least I got to shoot that one,,, no play time for the 9mm and .45ACP though :(

I'm not entirely sure on the ports - the are supposed to reduce the recoil but shooting 10 rounds blackens the front sight considerably....

I'm building a 10" Vang Comp'd - 870 with no ports - CTR stock and MOE grip.....

Are you go with a Mesa Tactical LEO setup? I'm debating between the LEO and the High Tube option for my 870P Their recoil kit looks interesting, but I'd like to try one before buying it though.
 
Just back from a little hike in the nature reserve "the Old Lands" which begins around the corner of my house,,, first 'big' hike for our new 4month old Magyar Vizsla pup, Aranka,,, she did rather well,,,

We had real luck with the weather today,,, although the low winter sun made it rather difficult to take pics,,, and to think that only a few weeks ago Belgium was in the grip of Ol' Man Winter covering everything in about 20-30cm of snow,,,
