Anyone here ever do any Dowsin' or Witchin' for water?

When I was 8......just watched some old Western and thought it was cool. I found a buried GI Joe..................

I tried it with two L shaped copper rods first, then tried a fork from a smaller sapling. I was always skepticle until I tried it myself. When I would walk over water the wood would pull down so hard on it's own it would literally jump out of one of my hands -

May need to drill a well there :D
 
I watched The Hallelujah Trail last night. Actually kind of funny. Jess's Dad put it on from an old VHS he found. Was fading in and out cause it was so old. He recorded it off a local station about 25 years ago. Good times.
