DETAIL: The Kestrel was designed at the request of a member of the security detail in the US Embassy in Egypt who wanted an Eagle Talon that he could wear concealed under a suit coat. "We can't carry live weapons outside the embassy or our vehicles. I want something that will get me back to my vehicle". The Kestrel and the bottom eject scabbard were Ryan's answer to that problem.
