I can't drop $800.00 on a knife. Too much other stuff I need, like a new deck and A/C unit.

It's too bad that so many around us fail to maintain this perspective. This next spring I will make a long awaited journey to see where my uncle's plane was brought down by enemy fire. It brings tears to my eyes just to think of it.
Tears I can wipe away, but a story like Gravel's and the lack of respect some seem to have for this great country and for those that have given their lives and lives of there sons, daughters, and brothers makes my blood boil.

Maybe things like private school should be considered public shcools are brain wash stations now anyway our gov took a page from hitler youth and teach things that just arnt true or change things so the gov can do as it pleases and no one is the wiser that it don't work I shall never allow any of my childeren go to a public school and my knife and gun buying will slow to a crawl but that is ok with me some people don't feel the way I do and that is ok but there a lot of gook schools out there but u have to pay and it is pricey just something to think about and the education is by far better my oldes daughter is starting school next year and there will be less that 15 kids in her class and there are kids that can graduate from public school that don't know how to read the hole system is all f up
But don't listen to me I am ur local consperisy theorist sometimes I wish I was blind to more than I am for what I do know is less than a sliver of the tree that is the gov
 
I went to public school as well. I seem to have done okay academically.
 
Public schools prior to 1995 were good. They seemed to become overwhelmed with rules than educating the heathens that pass through their doors since then.

My daughter was in private school, then I took the police job and cannot afford to send her there, she is in an advanced "magnet" program, but they HAVE to allow a certain percentage of other students in who failed the testing because the program was called "racist". For only allowing students who passed the entrance exams.......

Public schools are fine as log as the parents contribute to and monitor their kids education at home. Look how Guyon turned out.:thumbup::D

I don't want to get all jesusy and all but in the 60s when they band prayer in schools u can see a steady decline from evrything like education and morals beleave in god or not that is a fact

Agreed :thumbup:

The removal of corporal punishment has had a detrimental effect too.

There are still some pretty good public schools out there - they're not all bad.
