looks like a nice gun!
did you go out on your porch and shoot it yet?

Millington Tn... I went to A school there

Morning everyone.

Our family just got back from a 8 day vacation to Washington. We spent 3 days in Seattle and 5 days tent camping at Olympic National Park. It was beautiful. My favorite things were hiking to the waterfall at Sol Duc, rowing around Crescent Lake one day, and making cinnamon rolls over an open wood fire on one of my daughter's birthdays (they are her favorite).

I brought the SPDR on this trip and used it for everything from food prep to battoning small logs.

Here is a view from our camp site on the river. The SPDR helped make the reverse self feeding fire (great way to build a fire).

Next time I'm in the Northwest, which will be sooner than later, I need add a road trip to meet Mike and Kurt. I'm jealous of you guys.

Awesome Brian!!!! Nothing beats camping next to a fast moving river.

Especially for the people around you if you snore.:D I don't think I've slept better in a while. The combination of hikes by day and white noise
at night equals a great nights sleep.

My buddy, whose family we camped next to, caught a bunch of trout fly fishing from his camp site.

congrats Jeremy! that looks like a sweet gun!

and Bushcraft, the pacific northwest is beautiful year round, when you return you should consider Crater Lake National park in Oregon. you won't want to come home!

Cool Brian, The Seattle area is great, specially this time of the year. Thanks for sharing the pics.

Here is another pic from our trip. We stopped at burger joint and when we walked in there was money tacked to every wall and the ceiling. It was EVERYWHERE, two or three bills deep in some areas. We asked the owner how this started and she said 25 years ago a man asked to tack his business card to the wall and she said it was ok. He tacked his card to the wall and put dollar behind it as a way to pay for his advertising.

Love that SPDR, nice Knife. I wish I had known you were up here, we could have had a get together. I'm sure Mike would have made a little time. :)

Kudos on winning that beautiful 1911, Jerm.

Way to go Jeremy! Nothing like winning a quality item!

Those pics are great Brian, thanks for sharing them. I hope the trip was everything your family planned. The SPDR looks like a perfect blade.

Week-end has not been bad. Feel well enough, easily, to hit my desk again tomorrow morning.

Of course, now I'm so paranoid I'm taking meds with me ... just in case.:o

Sorry to see Jerm is tired, but hope he can get some serious Z's tonight.
