Congrats on the safe J. About the chisel thing...I just got a Lue recently and he sharpens with a buffer and compound. I think I want to stick with belts. How do you sharpen a true chisel edge with belts?

Thanks in advance J.

I don't understand J. I mean the one side is flat and the other side is at an angle. I am just having a hard time visualizing how to do it and keep the true zero edge. What do you mean .020?

I am interested. I sharpen convex the same basic way as you and that gets the sharpest edges I have ever handled period. Thanks again J.

Any of you guys ever run a trot line for blue crabs, or any other species for that matter? I am headed out this weekend to the Bay where I am going to try my hand at it. I am looking for all the tips/pointers I can get.

Sorry, my boy. I only know how to eat those tasty, blue devils.:)
