Nice fish mang, looks like a blast. ^ ^ ^

Thanks Truk...they were fat little bastards. I am always amazed at the fight small put up. They have far more life and energy than large mouth, pike, muskie, catfish, and trout. At least that is my experience. Granted a river give any fish more power, but lb. for lb... smallmouth are little Mike Tysons.

Coo mang.

Hey Big Country...I'll be sure to get ahold of ya...you are blessed to live in what I truly identify as God's Country.

Red Bear....glad you appreciate the power of the smalley! I've eaten them, and although they do not quite compare to small/medium size pike or walleye, they are very tasty. That is, if they have been raised in glacial waters. I do not eat the ones out of the rivers in IL....they are a bit dirty, especially considering they eat almost anything that comes within striking distance. But if you travel up to the Boundary Waters or the northern tips of the Northern States, then I am sure you would have no problem chowin down.

BTW, back to school in a few weeks. I cannot wait....I like working outside, but chipping trees and picking up garbage can be a bit tiresome in the 90+ heat. I'll go back to the outside work next summer, but the I look forward to the physical break and mental challenge the students bring. Life is good as long as I have something to do!

Keep bringin us the grind Jeremy. Your work is gaining in notoriety, yet still provides that good old satisfaction us Hortonites crave.

I've been in the woods today with my GF, we took a short hike and gathered mushrooms. Now we're cooking, having a snack, and then we're going to the cinema ;)

BushcraftBrainTrust, that OJ looks very nice! Interesting pattern of that damascus

Thanks Kurt and Filip, I wish the picture was better. Had to compromise on showing the cool grind and ladder damascus.

That mascus is way cool,:thumbup:

I wonder what it would look like as a 16'' chopper.
