The EPA has made damn sure that refrigerant is definitely not cheap.
I had to buy two cans of 408a at work last week. $437 each! I'm glad I wasn't paying. :foot:

Jeremey I feel for you. Right now it is only 63 degrees outside.We seem to go from one extreeme to the next. All weekend it was in the 90's and high humidity. Hope your AC is a cheap easy fix!

You have a leak!
Contrary to popular belief,the refrigerant
does not get "used up" over time.
it is possible it was never fully charged,but once charged,
a properly installed system should never need
"recharging"
