Question for Carto. Can that type of wrap be used on a knife with a curved handle such as the Swamp Warden? Awesome wrap.

anyone know what the "wave" is on an emerson knife?
im looking at picking up a karambit but he says it is "waved"

According to what I know about those knives (I don't like them Emerson's, sorry I have to say) the "wave" its the opening in the end of the blade or what Emerson call them the "wave shaped opening feature" or Remote Pocket Opener.

It hooks on your pants when you pull it out of your pocket and automatically opens the knife. I like Waved knives. Jeremy's pants don't.:D


If you take it out of your pocket slowly it won't open, but for a karambit I thinks fast and automatic is a definite plus.

Im thinking about getting this for a friend.
After seeing Rick's and how he carries it,
its been on my mind to get this for him in
case of an emergency where he was struggling
with a crook over his gun.
 
I have no problem with the "wave" thing, just with that brand, I had a bad experience...thats another story.

I like my Karambits to be different......:cool::D
