It's just a K5 right?? They are nice trucks, but they have rust issues. And finding parts for it could be a hassle...

High of 55 here today, overnight low of 35f. with mixed rain and snow, same as yesterday and the four days before that, got a couple inches of snow pellets yesterday, stuck for just a couple hours.
I like this way better than hot and humid, but it can be tough growing corn or tomatoes, we get hard freezes in the middle of July some times and just a couple hundred feet elevation either was makes a big difference.

K5 with a 6.2 diesel, 24v system, and other mil stuff. Mostly it is taking things away (sound deadening, AC, etc). It would be a fun project truck, but after looking at one I'm probably better off going with a more modern truck.

That 6.2 is less then to be desired just swap in a diffrent motor its not hard I am changing the cab again on my truck and getting a new tranny and put lizard skin in the hole cab

BTW, per your previous and patient advice, I've been looking for for a reasonably priced Dodge but I have not had any luck. Thanks for helping with my diesel education.
