Drove 1,5 hours there and 1,5 hours back to apply for a job. Very unusual for a Czech, in a country that you can drive through lengthwise as a whole within 4 hours. Hope it was worth it.

anyone going to that fogo dinner or
staying at the waverly hotel at blade this year? (whatever the hotel is the busse clan is staying at)
rob stanley has a cd for me and I was hoping someone could grab it
and mail it to me

Thanks, guys. They should let me know in two weeks, we'll see.
Have a nice weekend everyone!

Btw. Any recommendations for a slick softshell jacket? I'm looking for something slim fit ideally. My Poland made Alpinus Polartec jacket begins to fall apart after 10 years of usage

Added a new member to the family.....Sig P220. Found it at the local Pawn Shop, used but really good condition $525 out the door with a box of 50 rounds. Painted the first coat of the new bedroom color. Scrubbed some of the outside of the homestead and painted another part.

In the immortal words of Ice Cube......today was a good day.

And tomorrow is the Belle Chasse Air Show. Hopefully I can get the family out there......and the folks are frying a turkey.

Would recommend TAD Gear but they aren't making a softshell currently. Check out the ones they carry right now though, maybe something else will tickle your fancy, http://www.tripleaughtdesign.com/Apparel/Jackets

OK. A whole month of looking no luck, I even start to consider ordering a jacket from the U.S., and now I just walk into a shop and see a good-looking softshell jacket hanging on display in exactly my size. I try it on, it fits perfectly, I grab it, pay for it and leave the shop - it took about 3 minutes altogether. Has this ever happened to you, too?

OK, enough of lame talk. I used the Necker to snap the tags off the jacket :D

Man, I just switched from FireFox 4 (that kept freezing and crashing) to Opera 10. Everything looks better now on teh iterwebz.
