There are a bunch of laws pertaining to different blade lengths, styles and methods of carrying when in certain places. CA penal code 653k has the info. Not much on trenchers but brass knuckles are illegal in CA so that kind of answers that part. As for the EDC, perfectly fine. I wear mine all the time. Not sure where it went, but I thought a while back that there was a blade length restriction in CA but according to the 653k part, there is no limit on blade length on folders. Doesn't mention fixed blades but I know it used to be like 12 inch blade max. Short answer is "EDC= Carry away."
 
Thanks guys---I've wondered what i could get away with here. I know you guys have handguns. Do you know if the Springfield XD is legal here. I know you have to replace the 13 round mag w/ a ten but the rest of the law doesan't make a lot of sense to me. Something about serial #'s ???? Thanks

Transport unionists are planning a 24-hr strike starting this midnight. Not only the public transport will not work, they even want to block all the main streets so that no one gets where he needs to get even in his own car. A total traffic armageddon and chaos is being expected. I'm drivin' to work really early tommorow, hopefully I'll pass before the f*ers start to block the streets. I'm taking all the cans of pepper spray I have and the baton with me. And some Neckers, of course. Maybe I'll finally get the chance to stab some car's hood. Unionist's preferably. I'm considering packing Mr. Smith .357, too, but not sure about it yet - in case I actually had to use it, the consequences could be somewhat grim for me...
 
make sure you have the car gas full
also have a nice pair of walking/running shoes
in the bag.
hopefully nothing comes of the strike
 
Gonna fill up the car tank today. I always wear shoes and clothes and EDC a bag to be able to walk / run at least 30 km anytime or stay a few days off the grid, but have no real experince w/ mobs. I also don't wanna stay off the grid because of a bunch of freakin' leftists, a natural disaster or an accident of some kind would be a different situation, but not this. I'm not seeking confrontation, but I won't just sit & waste my time & money as they wish, either. It shouldn't get violent, but you know it: "Hope for the best, prepare for the worst". Anyway, my "plan A" is to slip through before the S even HTF. We'll see.

ETA: No sick days for me, BBT. We have no such thing here. The only chance is a regular vacation, which I already have very little left of, and will darn need it on other occasions yet.

The xd is good you can have the xdm but u have to buy it used from a cop becouse he can buy them new
I am trying to find a cop that I don't hate so I can get an fnp 45 tac but I have to pay for him to buy it then pay for the dros to my name the shootest can fill you in I wanted to get a ccw when I moved to riverside co but you half to get a 4th waver I am not going to give up. One right for another I can't wait to move out of hear just a few more years to finish and I am gone
 
Morning men.I am like a fish out of water down here in the big city. I have my Glock 23 with me with 2 mags of Golden saber hollowpoints. I need a Horton folder to replace my Cold Steel gunsite that I carry. My daughter brought her lap top down so that I can check in.....lol
