9 workdays remain for me. This week, then one week off, then one last week of the old job, then one week off again, and then the new job. Can't wait for it. Btw. the new job is in a American company ;) :cool:

Mornin....

I'm so sore...15 miles of trails yesterday - I need a all mountain bike not this hardtail shit...
 
Talking bikes, my GF got a old city bike somewhere for free, it's about as old as I am and needs some refurb, but seems it'll do. I've already cleaned it thoroughly, got new tubes & tires for it, and it needs a new front brake lever. I went to a bike shop and learned that while a expensive-as-hell carbon lever with integrated shifting along with a professional expensive-as-hell fitting & trimming service can be had immediately, for a plain simple ordinary lever you have to wait being ordered from the dealer. After you've paid it's measly price in advance, of course.
Maybe it's me who's getting it wrong, but I remember times when such things worked the other way... I mean, if you can hold a few 4000 CZK carbon levers in stock, why can't you hold some 150 CZK low-end levers, too? Am I the only buyer in this city? :confused:
 
Morning men. Went with my son and his girlfriend yesterday. He proposed to her at Tanner falls. So I am excited to be gaining another daughter!

Also want to add that if anyone sees anything at this auction, it is not that far from me. I get really good rates with FedEx National and I can pack up and ship for you. There is some nice stuff in this place.
