I just bought two 1923 Peace dollars for a buck apiece.
 
Three Latino kids paid for Cokes and chips with them while I was in line. The cashier didn't really know what they were until I assured her they were legal tender dollars. Of course, I offered to give her a "real" dollar for each, and she happily complied.
 
Well, it didn't put a tingle in my dingle or anything like that.

Off to get the vodka out of the freezer.
 
Dripped the last drops out of that bottle, but I got a full martini out of it.

If I double dip, it's going to have to be Scotch, bourbon, or medium toasted oak.

After much angst, I finally decided on a compression rate for ripping all my CDs.

The rip fest is about to begin.

Yeah, I caught a faint whiff of tortillas and guacamole. They had been sitting in a drawer obviously. Each one had a rubber band melted across it, one on the obverse and one on the reverse. Nothing too special. Just old circulated coin. One was a San Francisco mint. The other Philadelphia.

Edited to add: Actually, I hope those kids get their asses beaten raw, but I wasn't about to mount a full scale investigation from the rear of the grocery line. Just too long a day, and I wanted my six-pack. Once the coins were in the till, either I was going to get them, or the store manager was going to get them. I voted for me.

No need for apologies, but I appreciate it.

If we're doing the sting, I need to send out my props to Special Agent Ra****** for crouching in those tick-infested woods from 4:30 a.m. until all hell broke loose. That fucker is dedicated. Maybe to a shitty cause, but he's still dedicated.
 
he got ticks on his sack... i would bet my whole fine,,, they had bben there since the 1st.. we hunted the fifth,, 0430 till dark.. i bet he still has scabs,,,
